A middleweight battle between Kevin Holland and Darren Stewart will open the main card for UFC Vegas 11 this Saturday live at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and on ESPN+. Both Holland and Stewart fought during UFC Fight Night 174 which was in early August, so they should be in rhythm and ready to get back in the octagon.
“Trailblazers” Holland has an 18-5 record and a two-match win streak. He’s won five of seven in the UFC, including a brutal loss via unanimous decision to No. 2-ranked light heavyweight Thiago Santos. Holland lands 4.65 significant strikes per minutes with a 55% striking rate, and has half of career wins via knockout.
Stewart, also known as “The Dentist,” is 12-5 career and 5-4-1 in the cage. He fought just over a month ago and earned a submission victory over Maki Pitolo. Also an orthodox fighter, Stewart looks to get on the ground more than Holland, converting 1.32 takedowns per 15 minutes. He achieves 43% of his takedown attempts.
