Best player prop bets for Bucks vs. Heat Game 2

We go over some player props to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 2 of Miami vs. Milwaukee on Wednesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and Duncan Robinson of the Miami Heat and Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat fight for the ball during the first quarter in Game One of the Eastern Conference Second Round during the 2020 NBA Playoffs at the Field House at ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex on August 31, 2020 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to tie a series yet again in Game 2 after a disappointing performance in Game 1. At least this time it wasn’t a loss to the Orlando Magic. The Miami Heat aren’t messing around and this is going to be a battle to the end. Giannis Antetokounmpo will likely be named NBA MVP for the 2019-20 season soon. Will that be coupled with another trip to the Eastern Conference Finals or a trip back home? Let’s go over some player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 2 on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Bam Adebayo OVER 15.5 total points (+115)

I like getting some juice on a number that is essentially a toss up. Bam is averaging around 15 points per game (14.4) in five games this postseason. He hit the OVER on this number twice in the first round. It’s not like the scoring opportunities weren’t there either, he had 12 field goal attempts in Game 1 vs. the Bucks. Really, if Jimmy Butler doesn’t take over and go for 40 points, Bam has a good shot at eclipsing this number. It carries some risk, so I wouldn’t call it a heavy-unit type of play. If you want a safer number, Bam’s total points + assists + rebounds is 30.5 for -121. He beat that in Game 1 with 35 total.

Giannis OVER 52.5 total points + assists + rebounds (+104)

Giannis Antetokounmpo was very pedestrian in Game 1 and I don’t think that continues. We saw what happened in the first round after the Bucks dropped Game 1. Giannis had 28 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. In Game 1 vs. the Heat, The Greek Freak took a playoff-low 12 field goal attempts. That number NEEDS to go up in Game 2. Giannis was also 4-of-12 from the stripe, one of his worst performance at the free throw line all season. It was just an awful game from Giannis and I expect a big bounce back Wednesday evening. Again, it’s a risky play but we’re getting more juice on it.

Jae Crowder OVER 5.5 total rebounds (-118)

It’s really hard to find any value in the player prop market for this game. I think this is the closest spot we’re going to get. Crowder has gone over 5.5 rebounds in 3 of 5 playoff games, and had 9 in Game 1 vs. the Bucks. He’s starting and playing big minutes. Milwaukee shots nearly 50% from the field in Game 1 and still got cleaned on the glass 46-34 overall. The Bucks play at a high pace, which bodes well for rebounding numbers overall. Crowder appears to be locked into 30+ minutes, so getting to 6 boards is a safer play.
