Minshew Mania lives on in 2020, as Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew got off to a strong start by knocking off the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. The second year quarterback has the keys to the offense and could have a breakout year. Can he keep his magic going against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2?
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew
Minshew only threw the ball 20 times in the season opener, but he completed 19 passes for 173 yards and three scores. Jacksonville doesn’t have a true bell cow at running back, but has a host of talented, young receivers like D.J. Chark Jr. and Laviska Shenault Jr. Minshew averaged more than 33 passing attempts per game in 2019, and I expect him to air it out more in Week 2 than he did in Week 1.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
The Titans don’t have a great pass defense, so I’d say Minshew is safe to start here in season-long fantasy. There are plenty of more enticing options in DFS.
