What to do with Stefon Diggs, John Brown in Week 2 fantasy football

Which of the Bills’ two receivers is a better play this week?

After rolling over the New York Jets to start the season, the Buffalo Bills have another easy outing against a divisional foe in Week 2, the Miami Dolphins. So with a favorable matchup on tap, what does that mean for Buffalo’s impressive receiver duo of John Brown and Stefon Diggs?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills WRs Stefon Diggs, John Brown

Diggs led the pair with eight catches and 86 yards last week. But Brown, who had 70 yards on six catches, also managed to find the end zone. Brown also edged Diggs in targets, 10 versus nine, in a game that saw Josh Allen throw a career-high 46 passes.

The Jets will probably be forced to stick to the ground game more this week against the Dolphins, who for all their faults do have a very good pair of cornerbacks. That’s what the Patriots did in their Week 1 win against Miami, running the offense through Cam Newton’s legs. The Bills can follow a similar script with Allen.

Of the two, Brown is probably the better/safer start this week. He and Allen have an established connection which gives him a slight edge against a tough secondary.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Brown. Sit Diggs.
