The Philadelphia Eagles are doubling down on speed at the wide receiver position with downfield burners DeSean Jackson and Jalen Reagor manning the two starting spots. They’ll have the chance to put up some solid fantasy numbers this week when the Eagles take on the Rams in what could be a high-scoring affair.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles WRs DeSean Jackson, Jalen Reagor
The Eagles really don’t have much choice in their starting receivers with Alshon Jeffery still hurting. There was some concern that Jackson might be ailing a bit too—he saw limited snaps last week—but that’s apparently not the case. He was still targeted seven times, compared to just four for Reagor, and finished the game with 46 yards. Reagor only caught one of those targets, but he made it count, rolling up 55 yards on the play and showing off his speed.
Jackson is expected to see more snaps this week against the Rams, but he’ll also see more of Jalen Ramsey on the outside. He’s still a decent play because the Eagles may be forced to pass quite a bit. I think Reagor is a sneakier play this week, especially at jut $4,100 in DraftKings leagues, for a second or third receiver spot or a flex guy who has a good chance to break off a few big plays.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Reagor and Jackson.
