Monday update: Christian McCaffrey is expected to miss “multiple weeks” with his ankle injury, according to Adam Schefter. Mike Davis moves into the starting role and Trenton Cannon moves up the depth chart as well. Look for the Panthers to bring in some extra help as well.
Post-game update: Christian McCaffrey injured his ankle and will get an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury, per Ian Rapoport.
We’ve already lost Saquon Barkley to an injury and now another Top-3 fantasy running back isn’t 100 percent anymore, as Christian McCaffrey hurt his ankle on his second touchdown run. He is questionable to return, but it doesn’t look like we’re looking at anything that could be season-ending at this point.

McCaffrey will be relieved by Mike Davis after rushing 18 times for 59 yards and two touchdowns and catching four passes for 29 more yards. Davis won’t be a priority pickup if McCaffrey is out for any time, but he is worth adding to your running back bench in the right leagues.
