The Kansas City Chiefs have been struggling all afternoon against the Los Angeles Chargers, but they might have found their groove at just the right moment. Early in the fourth quarter, quarterback Patrick Mahomes rolled out to his right and unleashed a bomb to Tyreek Hill for a touchdown.
Hill caught the ball and went to the ground, but rolled over into the end zone. Mahomes followed by finding Mecole Hardman for the two-point conversion to tie the game at 17.
Mahomes is 17 of 32 for 215 yards and two touchdowns, with two rushes for 25 yards in the game. He’s found a strong opponent this week in rookie Justin Herbert. The Chargers first round pick has completed 20 of 31 passes for 304 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his NFL debut.
