Week 2s final game will be between the New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night at Allegiant Stadium. The game is set to begin at 8:15 p.m. ET. and will feature two 1-0 teams. Running backs stand out as the top DFS plays in this matchup on DraftKings, but we’ll go over some of the best value plays available here.
Wil Lutz, K, Saints ($4,200)
Lutz is one of the best kickers in the league, and playing with a high-scoring team like the Saints raises his floor. The Kansas City Chief’s Harrison Butker was the only kicker scored more fantasy points than Lutz in 2019. New Orleans is expected to carry most of the scoring load in this matchup, and you can typically count on Lutz to convert the opportunities he gets to score.
Saints D/ST ($5,200)
New Orleans racked up 17 DKFP on defense against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, and Las Vegas isn’t as talented on offense. The Saints have an elite defensive line that excels at stuffing the run and get after the quarterback. if Derek Carr has to depend on his inexperienced receivers, the Saints could put up a solid number of points on defense.
Bryan Edwards, WR, Raiders ($4,800)
Edwards got rave reviews in camp but only received one target in his pro debut against the Carolina Panthers. He caught the only ball that was thrown his way, but didn’t really get to show what he’s capable of. Henry Ruggs III will likely attract the attention of Marshon Lattimore, so Edwards could use his ability to make contested catches to win an easier matchup.
Taysom Hill, QB, Saints ($2,400)
If you think the Saints could win this game in a blowout, Hill could be worth a look. He’s cheap because he’s a gadget player and has a chance to throw or run for touchdowns. All it takes is one trick play gone right for him to return significant value. While he’s essentially a punt play, getting lucky by rostering him could give you a big edge.
