Friday update: The 49ers released their final injury report and have ruled out Jimmy Garoppolo, George Kittle, Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, Dee Ford, and Dre Greenlaw.

The 49ers are hurting on both sides of the ball, as Jimmy Garoppolo, George Kittle, Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, Dee Ford, Nick Bosa, and Solomon Thomas are all injured to some degree. To start Week 3 practice, we won’t see Garoppolo, Mostert or Coleman, per Jennifer Lee Chan of NBCS 49ers.

Previous reports suggest that Mostert and Coleman won’t be able to go this week, while Garoppolo, with his high-ankle sprain, has some chance to suit up. Garoppolo’s lack of running in his game gives him a chance if the ankle is stable enough to step into his throws and maneuver inside the pocket.

Mostert and Coleman both have varying degrees of sprained MCLs, with Mostert’s injury seemingly not as bad, as Adam Schefter reports that Coleman is likely to go on IR whit his injury:

If Garoppolo can’t go, we will see Nick Mullens against the Giants, who has starting experience. If Mostert can’t play, we’ll see Jeff Wilson and Jerick McKinnon leading the way.
