Bills WR John Brown pops up on Week 3 injury report

John Brown has played well so far this season, but was limited with a foot injury on Thursday. Will he be able to go against the Chargers in Week 3?

Buffal Bills wide receiver John Brown landed on the injury report for Thursday with a limited tag due to a foot ailment, per Bills PR. Brown missed Wednesday’s practice before last week’s game with a foot injury, but was able to play as usual. The fact that this came after Brown practiced on Wednesday is a little concerning though.

As long as he can get a full practice in on Friday, he should be good to go. But if he can’t go, Stefon Diggs will likely be a target hog, but in a tough matchup with the Chargers, while Cole Beasley should see plenty of work. Tight end Dawson Knox is in the concussion protocol at the moment, so his status is uncertain. Gabriel Davis and Isaiah McKenzie have been fighting for those few left over targets this season, with McKenzie seeing five to Davis’ 3, but Davis has played more snaps. Neither is likely to have much value even if Brown can’t go.
