The betting public is not all that optimistic in what the Razorbacks can do on Saturday. Georgia is currently favored by 27.5 points and is receiving 89% of the handle on its side, which is the highest amount among all SEC games this weekend. Seventy-one percent of the bets placed are backing the Bulldogs, second in the conference behind Alabam (76%).
Another interesting betting split is despite only 49% of bettors taking the under 54.5 point total, 87% of the handle is on the under, the highest among point totals in the SEC this weekend.
This game features the lowest point spread at 3.5 points in favor of Tennessee on Saturday night, so it would make sense South Carolina is receiving a decent amount of action coming its way on the moneyline.
The Gamecocks are the only underdog receiving more than half the moneyline bets on its side at 55%, though the money is still siding with Tennessee seeing 66% of the handle.
In what might be the most interesting split in the opening weekend of SEC football, we are seeing a large difference in the percentage of bets and where the money is being bet. Currently 70% of the bets are coming on LSU to cover the 16.5-point spread. With Mississippi State receiving only 30% of all bets placed in this game, 61% of the money is landing on the Bulldogs’ side. Big bettors are going after Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon
