The Pittsburgh Steelers are 2-0 following the return of Ben Roethlisberger and have a chance to extend their unbeaten streak against the Houston Texans in Week 3. James Conner has a favorable matchup against the Texans’ poor run defense, but Benny Snell Jr. will likely also get some touches. We’ll go over the fantasy football outlook for the two backs here.
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers RBs James Conner, Benny Snell Jr.
Houston has given up the second most rushing yards (198) in the NFL this season after facing the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. Conner and Snell both have 100-yard games under their belts this year, but Conner is the feature back. Snell’s carries in Week 1 came as a result of a James Conner injury. When Conner was healthy in Week 2, Snell only got three carries.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Conner has been heralded as the bell cow since camp and should continue to be that for the Steelers when healthy. Start him over Snell.
