The Philadelphia Eagles are off to an 0-2 start in 2020 and will look to get their first win of the season in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3. While wide receiver play has been shaky, Miles Sanders’ season debut in Week 2 gave Philadelphia some consistency out of the backfield. The Cleveland Browns’ running backs dominated Cincinnati in Week 2. Can the Eagles do something similar on the ground?
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles RBs Miles Sanders, Boston Scott
Sanders tallied 20 carries and Week 2 and ran for 95 yards. He only reached 20 carries once in 2019, so getting that many attempts in the first game back from an injury shows he will have a heavy workload moving forward. Sanders is an all-purpose back, so it’s not surprising to see that he also got seven targets in Week 2. He caught three passes for 36 yards and should continue to have plenty of PPR upside with Jalen Reagor out because of thumb injury.
It makes since for Boston Scott to see regression now that Sanders is back. He only notched four carries for 19 yards in Week 2, but also hauled in three passes for 24 yards. He’ll likely just be used to spell Sanders.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sanders is the clear feature back and should easily get at least 20 carries. Start him over Scott in all formats and DFS.
