The Los Angeles Chargers will roll with Justin Herbert at quarterback again this week against the Carolina Panthers. And if the results from last week’s overtime loss to the Chiefs are any indication, that’s good news for L.A.’s receivers.
Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers WRs Keenan Allen, Mike Williams
Allen got off to a slow start to the season, catching just four targets for 38 yards against a weak Bengals team in Week 1. But with Herbert under center last week, instead of Tyrod Taylor, the Chargers’ No. 1 receiver saw a big improvement to his overall stat line. He finished that game with seven catches on 10 targets and 96 yards. He should be in for another good week against a Panthers team giving up big points to opposing receivers.
Williams didn’t fare as well last week, catching just two balls for 14 yards. Herbert’s aggressive style should pay off for Williams, eventually. The matchup makes him a decent option for one of the last receiver spots in your lineup and some flex consideration.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Allen. Sit Williams.
