What to do with Colts D/ST in Week 3 fantasy football

The Colts defense has a juicy matchup this week against the Jets.

The Indianapolis Colts have one of the better defenses in fantasy football so far this season. They average close to 10 points per game, thanks in part to a Week 1 loss to the Jaguars, and have a great chance to pad those numbers this week against the most hapless team in the NFL, the New York Jets.

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts D/ST

Playing the Jets is pretty much an automatic start for whatever D/ST is opposing them that week. In fact, the Colts are the top defense in DFS leagues this week, costing $4,100 in DraftKings leagues. But it’s not just the Jets’ incompetence that makes them a great start in Week 3 (though that’s a huge part of it).

Indianapolis is tied for second place with three interceptions through two games this season. The Colts’ seven sacks are the third best mark in the NFL so far, and they’re only allowing an average of 208 total yards per game, nearly 100 yards better than the next closest unit.
