What to do with Bills D/ST in Week 3 fantasy football

Despite the team’s 2-0 record, this wouldn’t be a bad week to leave the Bills D/ST on the bench.

After a solid start to the season, the Buffalo Bills defense struggled in a Week 2 matchup against the Dolphins. This week, they’ll face their toughest test yet against a Los Angeles Rams team that’s been pretty good at scoring points so far this season. Here’s how to handle the Bills D/ST for fantasy.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills D/ST

Needless to say, the New York Jets did not pose much of an obstacle to the Bills defense in the season opener. Buffalo held them to 17 points on the scoreboard, and finished the game with eight points in fantasy scoring. Last week was a little different story. Without linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano, the Dolphins were able to score 28 points and rack up 523 total yards. Needless to say, that didn’t translate well to fantasy points.

The good news this week is that both Edmunds and Milano both returned to practice, and there’s reason to be optimistic that they can suit up against the Rams. That said, the Rams have a loaded offense, and had no problem scoring 37 points against a pathetic Eagles team last week. This is not a good week to have the Bills D/ST in your lineup.
