DeAndre Hopkins hasn’t missed a beat, has he?
Ever since being acquired by the Arizona Cardinals from the Houston Texans, Hopkins has been one of the NFL’s best, as the NFL’s second-highest performing wide receiver through the season’s first two games.
Larry Fitzgerald and Andy Isabella have still found varying degrees of success, but have still taken a backseat to Nuk in the Cardinals passing attack. This week, the Cardinals are set to face off against the Detroit Lions, one week removed from letting the Green Bay Packers drop 42 points on them.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals WRs DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald, Andy Isabella
Through the NFL’s first two seasons, DeAndre Hopkins has seen an insane twenty-five targets from Kyler Murray. Fitzgerald and Isabella have combined for only 15 targets during the same period.
Considering Hopkins has such a lion’s share of Arizona’s targets, he’s a safe bet to have a solid game against a Lions defense that has struggled so far in 2020 without Darius Slay. Fitzgerald and Isabella are capable of having big games, but because the Cardinals are beat the Lions fairly comfortably, after Hopkins gets the Cardinals out to a lead, there might not be reason to force the ball Fitzgerald’s or Isabella’s way.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Hopkins as a WR1 and Fitzgerald as a flex. Bench Isabella.
