UPDATE: On Monday, Nagy confirmed Cohen tore his ACL.

Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen is feared to have torn his ACL, says Coach Matt Nagy. Cohen had his leg taken out from under him on a punt return and had to helped off the field. Cohen recently signed a contract extension, which is a small silver lining in this case.

Cohen has two carries for 21 yards and three receptions for 20 yards as the Bears benched quarterback Mitch Trubisky and gave Nick Foles the job of making up a 16 point deficit in the fourth quarter. Amazingly enough, he did make up that ground and the Bears won, but Cohen’s loss will hurt.

Cohen hasn’t seen a lot of work this year, but he is a threat as a receiver underneath. David Montgomery will likely see an uptick in receiving work and could have higher fantasy upside moving forward.
