Friday morning update: Coach Bruce Arians says that Chris Godwin is out, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. This was expected, but we are still waiting on Scotty Miller’s status, as he was able to get some work in at practice today. Arians told the media they will wait and see how Miller feels on Saturday coming off Friday’s practice. Justin Watson does appear healthy and will take Godwin’s spot, but Miller has proven to be more of a target for Tom Brady and could have fantasy value if he can play.
Thursday update: Godwin missed practice again, as all signs point to him missing this week and possibly the following week when the Buccaneers play on Thursday Night Football. Scotty Miller remains out as well, likely giving Justin Watson a good bump in work this week if he can’t get healthy.
Wednesday update: We have additional confirmation that Godwin will be out this week from ESPN’s Jenna Laine:
Chris Godwin isn’t practicing today after suffering a hamstring injury against the Broncos, but he is on the sideline with teammates and in good spirits. Here he is helping Mike Evans get warmed up. Sources told me he’s out this week against the Chargers. pic.twitter.com/ddswcA3tTc

Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver Chris Godwin is expected to miss “multiple weeks” with a hamstring injury, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Godwin missed Week 2 with a concussion, but came back against Denver in Week 3 and scored a touchdown and caught five passes for 64 yards before leaving with his injury.
The Buccaneers face the Chargers in Week 4 and then have a quick turnaround with a Thursday night game against the Bears, which could make it tougher for Godwin to return at 100 percent. Justin Watson is his direct backup in the slot, but he was out Week 3 with a shoulder injury.
The players most likely to see upticks in work other than Mike Evans, are Scotty Miller, Rob Gronkowski and O.J. Howard. Miller should have the most fantasy upside of that group and is worth a waiver add this week.
