3rd quarter update: Mahomes was back out to start the third quarter and looked good.

Halftime update: It sounds like Mahomes looked fine running to the locker room at halftime. We’ll keep an eye out for more info when the third quarter starts.

The Kansas City Chiefs are rolling over the Baltimore Ravens through two quarters of Monday Night Football in Week 3, but they might have something to check at halftime. On the Chiefs final offensive play of the first half, quarterback Patrick Mahomes appeared to come off the field a little gimpy.

Mahomes connected with Sammy Watkins for seven yards before Harrison Butker missed a field goal in the late seconds of the half. The throw came with some pressure on Mahomes and the camera showed him a bit gimpy as he came off the field after the play. Mahomes finished the half 19 of 27 for 260 yards and three touchdowns and also had 14 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

It’s likely something he’ll grit through and be fine for the second half, but whatever it was will be worth tracking when the teams return to the field.
