Friday morning update: Kareem Hunt returned to practice on Friday, per the Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot. Hunt has been dealing with a groin injury, but Cabot reported yesterday that it was minor and Hunt’s availability on Friday seems to back that up.

If Hunt is able to go, he should be in a good spot to see work as a receiver, as the Cowboys strong offense should keep the Browns from going all in on the run this week.

Thursday PM update: The Browns returned to practice on Thursday and running back Kareem Hunt remains sidelined with a groin injury, per Mary Kay Cabot. Although reports suggest the injury isn’t serious, his status for Sunday would appear to be in doubt.

Cleveland Brown running back Kareem Hunt won’t practice on Wednesday, per Scott Pelak of BrownsZone. Hunt finished the game on Sunday against Washington, so this could be a rest day, but he’ll be listed with a groin injury.

The team did call up running back Dontrell Hilliard from the practice squad, but he isn’t a direct replacement for Hunt. With kick returner JoJo Naston out for the season, Hilliard is need to return kicks. But, if Hunt were to miss, Hilliard would likely fill in for Hunt as the third-down back against the Cowboys in Week 4.
