The NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs get underway this weekend with the Cook Out Southern 500 held at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina. The race will get started at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday on NBC Sports Network. Chase Elliott will be on the pole with Denny Hamlin beside him to start the race.

DraftKings has a DFS contest running for this race, and you can set your lineup here before the green flag waves on race day. Before you get your DFS lineup ready, let’s look at some sleepers and bets bets for the race.

Best Bets

Kevin Harvick ($10,900)

Kevin Harvick comes into Sunday’s race with the second highest price among all the drivers, but history shows he has done well in important races. In the past eight seasons, Kevin Harvick has won at least one playoff race, which is the longest streak among active drivers in the series. He has also won at Darlington twice in his career and is the favorite according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

Erik Jones ($9,600)

It’s a bit of a small sample size but statistically, Erik Jones performs his best on this track. In five career races at Darlington, he finished eighth or better all five times and won the race in 2019. With him coming in at seventh for DFS prices, Jones has plenty of value.

Sleeper Picks

Jimmie Johnson ($8,400)

Jimmie Johnson has won at Darlington three times over his career, which is tied for the most among active racers with Denny Hamlin. He finished inside the top 12 in each of the six races prior to last weekend at Daytona where he placed 17th among the drivers.

Kurt Busch ($9,000)

Kurt Busch has yet to make it into the Championship 4 despite appearing in the playoffs seven times during the elimination format. He should be motivated to advance this season as he comes in with the most playoff appearances without making the Championship 4 among all the drivers. He finished third and 15th in two Darlington races earlier this year.
