The Houston Rockets took Game 1 of their second-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers and are looking to go up 2-0. DraftKings Sportsbook has prop bets centered around the stars in this matchup, and we’ll go over the best options below.
Player prop: LeBron James triple-double (+200)
James has two playoff triple-doubles under his belt already and came close to notching a third in Game 1. The return of Rajon Rondo shouldn’t stop James from having a high usage rate. James will have to continue stuffing the stat sheet to get the job done, but needs role players to get shots. If he plays power forward while Davis moves to center, he could have more rebounding upside than usual.
Player prop: Anthony Davis to score more points than LeBron James (+110)
The Lakers are looking to take advantage of Davis’s size and will playing at center against the Rockets moving forward. He’s significantly better than all of Miami’s frontcourt players and posted 25 points and 14 rebounds his last time out. If he doesn’t settle for jumpers and gets physical in the post, I like he could go toe to toe with Harden in the scoring department.
Player prop: Russell Westbrook under 0.5 threes made (+192)
Westbrook as only made two shots from beyond the arc in his five playoff games this year and has attempted 11. I like the chances of him not making one in Game 2, as he’ll likely attempt less than three. The absence of Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee could encourage him to attack the rim more.
