UPDATE: Jokic is active for Game 3 vs. the Clippers.
Denver Nuggets C Nikola Jokic is being listed as questionable to play in Game 3 vs. the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. The second-round series is tied 1-1 after the Nuggets had a dominant performance in Game 2 on Saturday night. It’s unclear when Jokic sustained the injury and whether it’s serious or not.

Jokic looked fine in Game 2, a 110-101 win for the Nuggets. He dropped 26 points with 18 rebounds and 4 assists in 37 minutes. Jamal Murray and Jokic basically made up all of Denver’s offense in the win. The Nuggets came out hot and never really let up. Since it’s the playoffs, I’m not really buying into this injury being serious. I fully expect Jokic to be able to play based on what we know right now. If information changes, we can go from there.
In the event that Jokic is held out, Mason Plumlee will likely start at the 5 for Denver. We could also see some Bol Bol off the bench? But more likely we’ll just see smaller lineups featuring Michael Porter Jr. and Torrey Craig. Paul Millsap would probably be tasked with more offense and facilitating down low if Jokic is out. Murray also becomes a very strong GPP play in DFS.
