We take you through some of the best quarterbacks going in Week 1 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

Football is back! Right? Yeah, it is! And we’re back with weekly fantasy football rankings. With no preseason games and limited to no fans in the stadiums, it will likely take these teams a little while to get to top performance. The good news is, we’ve all watched a lot of bad football in our days and somehow managed not to gouge our own eyes out.

This season starts with two of the best quarterbacks in the league going head to head on Thursday night, as DeShaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes dual it out in Kansas City. You’re playing either in fantasy without a second thought. For the most part, you’re playing your No. 1 quarterback you drafted this week unless you drafted two in the later rounds to play matchups.

One quarterback you may have gotten on the cheap is Cam Newton. He is risky, but he gets a strong matchup at home against the Dolphins and I expect him to be his healthiest in a long time. That health should help him tack on some fantasy points with his legs and boost himself into a Top-10 fantasy play this Sunday.

With Ben Roethlisberger being a decent value in drafts, he might be your No. 2 quarterback, but I’m on board with him in the Top-12 this week in a great matchup against a shakuy Giants secondary. If he looks like he’s back and healthy, he could end up starting for you most weeks.

Gardner Minshew, Jaguars vs. Colts

Minshew gets enough done with his legs to help boost up his numbers and after letting Leonard Fournette go, I expect this team to rely on his passing and creativity to move the ball. It’s not always going to be pretty, but he should get plenty of opportunities to make fantasy points all season.

Teddy Bridgewater, Panthers vs. Raiders

Bridgewater isn’t going to air it out, but with a poor defense backing him up and some strong underneath targets, he has good upside. The Panthers offense should play right into Bridgewater’s strengths and with Christian McCaffrey and D.J. Moore’s ability after the catch, I like his chances of putting up good numbers against a poor Raiders defense.
