David Montgomery extended his touchdown streak to five games with a single-score performance in the Bears’ 41-17 blowout over the Jaguars in Week 16. Now, Chicago is in control of its playoff hopes as it finds itself in a win-and-you’re-in situation against Green Bay. Will Montgomery’s trustworthiness continue in Week 17?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bears RB David Montgomery

David Montgomery’s touchdown streak started in Chicago’s first game against Green Bay. He broke 100 rushing yards for the first time this season and finished with 28.3 DKFP. Since then, the Bears RB has yet to register a fantasy score under 20 DKFP. And while the Packers head into the final week on a five-game winning streak with a chance to clinch the one seed, they have been very vulnerable to the ground game. Green Bay has allowed the fifth-most DKFP per game to opposing running backs, barely falling behind Jacksonville. There are plenty of paths to success for Montgomery here.
