Unlike a few teams that can shut down their starters in the final week of the season, the Baltimore Ravens have to put it all on the line. Their playoff hopes rest on beating the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and with the offense firing on all cylinders lately, it shouldn’t be a problem. That also opens the opportunity for some solid fantasy football production from team, so let’s take a close look at what to expect from their top two wide receivers, Marquise Brown and Willie Snead.
Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens WRs Marquise Brown, Willie Snead
Last week, Brown had just 25 yards on four catches (with four targets) against the Giants, but he did score his fourth touchdown in his last five games. He had 98 receiving yards the week before. Snead caught two passes on two targets for 24 yards, which is 24 yards more than he had the week before that.
The Ravens prioritize the ground game, which doesn’t leave a lot of targets to go around. Brown is usually the second option in the passing game, behind tight end Mark Andrews, and Snead ranks third.
With the Bengals especially vulnerable on the ground, the Ravens might not have to do a lot throwing in this one. Still, Brown’s ability to break off big plays and his touchdown streak of late, gives him some fantasy value this week. Snead can be left out of lineups.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Marquise Brown as a WR3. Sit Willie Snead.
