In one of the nicer moments of the run-up to the Rose Bowl this year, Alabama Najee Harris was asked a question about his repeated use of the signature celebration of US Women’s Soccer National Team star Megan Rapinoe after scoring touchdowns this season.

It turns out Harris is a huge fan of the USWNT and OL Reign’s most well-known player, and gave a tremendous answer about his admiration of the midfielder and an outspoken champion for women’s rights and other causes.

To wit, Rapinoe responded on Twitter, and wished for Harris to hurdle someone in the College Football Playoff semifinal.

Pinoe: Two-time FIFA World Cup champion, Olympic gold medalist, and apparently a seer in her spare time.
It made Harris’ phenomenal hurdle even more memorable, as that might go down as the signature play of the College Football Playoff in 2021.
