The 2021 NFL Playoffs are progressing along with the Wild Card round officially a wrap. We had six games this past weekend thanks to the NFL’s expanded playoff pool, but now we get back to the normalcy of the Divisional Round. We’ve reached the elite eight, and while four lower seeds advanced, only two teams further down the list of Super Bowl odds advanced out of the first round.

The opening round saw the No. 5 and No. 6 seeds in each conference upset the No. 4 and No. 3 seeds, respectively. The Browns knocked off the Steelers, the Ravens beat the Titans, the Rams stunned the Seahawks, and the Bucs beat Washington. Of those matchups, Baltimore and Tampa Bay were both road favorites.

The top six teams in Super Bowl odds at DraftKings Sportsbook all advanced, and we saw one team move above another. The Ravens entered the playoffs at +1100 to win the Super Bowl while the Bucs entered at +1000. The Ravens are now +800 to the Bucs +900. Due to the Browns upset of the Steelers, Baltimore avoids the Chiefs in the Divisional Round and instead travels to face the Bills. Buffalo is no joke, but they are not viewed on the same level as Kansas City. The Bucs avoid the Packers in the Divisional Round, but it’s not quite the same benefit as avoiding the Chiefs for now.

Below are the latest Super Bowl odds following the Wild Card Round. The Browns and Rams had the biggest improvement, but their upsets earned them a date with the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences. The degree of difficulty increases significantly.
