Update 10:57 p.m. According to the ESPN broadcast sideline reporter Allison Williams, Smith might not return to the game. And with Alabama now holding a 45-24 lead late in the third quarter, it might be in his best interests to shut it down. Especially with the NFL Draft coming in April.

Smith went to the medical tent afterwards, and is still in there as we write this with 6:45 to go in the third quarter.
Smith has already set a Championship Game records with 12 catches for 215 yards and three touchdowns in the first half alone.
