Tight ends have been lackluster overall this season from a fantasy perspective and without Travis Kelce or Robert Tonyan in the Wild Card round, there weren’t many tight ends to choose from. Of the tight ends that moved forward in the playoffs, Austin Hooper and Dawson Knox were the only to catch a touchdown and Cameron Brate was the only one to top 50 receiving yards.
Kelce and Tonyan are good additions to the tight end player pool and quickly move to the head of the class in the Divisional Round. Austin Hooper saw the most targets of the tight ends who won, but a crazy game with the Steelers did boost targets. But, if the Chiefs get an early lead, we could see another high Hooper target day.
Jared Cook was second in targets with seven, which he caught four of for just 40 yards. He hasn’t shown much upside this season, but remains one of the better tight end plays this weekend.
Overall, Kelce is far ahead of the rest of the tight ends going this weekend.
