UPDATE: Georgetown has postponed its next two games against Providence and Marquette, per Kareem Copeland.

The Big East has canceled Wednesday’s men’s basketball contest between Georgetown and DePaul due to COVID-19 issues in the Hoyas program. On the heels of that, CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander is reporting Georgetown will pause the program and postponed its next three scheduled games. That includes Wednesday against DePaul, this coming Saturday vs. Providence, and January 20 vs. Marquette.

Georgetown is currently 3-8 on the season and 1-5 in Big East Play.
