The Baltimore Ravens will travel to face the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL Playoffs. The game is scheduled for Saturday, January 16th with kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET. If the Bills win the game, they’ll face the Chiefs on the road or host the Browns for the AFC Championship game. If the Ravens win, they’ll either travel to face the Chiefs or host the Browns for the AFC Championship game.

How the Ravens and Bills got here

The Bills will continue to enjoy home-field advantage following a three-point victory over the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round. Josh Allen threw for 324 yards and two touchdowns in that contest to pair with his 54 rushing yards and a score on the ground. First-team All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs continues to lead the pack, having managed 100 or more receiving yards in four of the team’s last five games. Though the team was undoubtedly happy to see WR Cole Beasley return from a knee injury in this game, though they did lose rookie RB Zack Moss to an ankle, likely to be without him for the duration of their playoff run. They’ll lean on RB Devin “Motor” Singletary when looking to take some pressure off of #17.

The Ravens have finally claimed their first playoff victory under quarterback Lamar Jackson. Their 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans, was thanks, in large part, to Jackson’s monstrous rushing performance — 136 yards and a score on 16 runs. He didn’t do much as a passer, but that’s the beauty of the inability to defend Jackson on the ground — he doesn’t need to. Wideout Marquise Brown continues to help his cause after a slow start to the season, too, with 447 receiving yards and six scores since Week 12. The defense was key in the team’s Wild Card victory, as they held 2020’s leading rusher Derrick Henry to just 51 total yards and an astonishing 2.2 yards per carry.
