What to do with Marquise Brown in the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Marquise Brown ahead of the Ravens Divisional round matchup against the Bills in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports

Marquise Brown couldn’t have picked a better time to have his highest yardage output since the 2020 season started. The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver posted 109 yards on seven catches, with nine targets, in last week’s Wild Card win over the Titans. The question now is whether or not he can continue that pace this week in the Divisional round game against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens WR Marquise Brown, $5,200

Everything in the recent past is very much in Brown’s favor. He’s had more than 15 fantasy points in every game he’s played since Week 12. He’s got six touchdowns in that stretch too.

Buffalo is a tougher nut to crack, however. The Bills are the fourth best defense against wide receivers. The touchdown Buffalo gave up to Zach Pascal of the Colts last week was the first score they’ve surrendered to a wide receiver since Week 14.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Brown’s the only wide receiver worth fantasy consideration on the Ravens, and his price tag is appealing as a potential bargain. He probably has a higher likelihood of scoring than he does breaking 50 yards in this one. I wouldn’t use him as anything more than a WR3.
