What to do with Dawson Knox in the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Dawson Knox ahead of the Bills Divisional round matchup against the Ravens in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

After seeing an increased role in the Buffalo Bills offense in the regular season finale—with a season-high eight targets—tight end Dawson Knox was cast back into a bit part in last week’s Wild Card game against the Titans. His fantasy football outlook for this week’s Divisional game against the Baltimore Ravens is not so great.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills TE Dawson Knox, $3,100

Knox caught two passes on three targets last week. He salvaged his fantasy day with a touchdown in the fist half, giving him four scores in his last seven. But he’s got an uphill task this week. His target share is much lower will Cole Beasley in the lineup. The Ravens defense also happens to be pretty good against tight ends. No tight end has had double digit fantasy points against Baltimore since Week 8, and they’ve only given up one touchdown to the position since then.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Knox might be tempting as a bargain play this week in DFS, but you’re essentially banking on him finding the end zone in a really tough matchup. Leave him out.
