Philadelphia 76ers C Joel Embiid will miss the next two games due to a knee injury. He will not travel with the team on their upcoming two-game road trip, which includes a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday and then the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. Embiid had previously missed time due to a back injury while the Sixers have also dealt with health and safety protocols after Seth Curry tested positive for Covid-19 last week. Mike Scott is also sidelined, so the Sixers will be thin in the front court.
Joel Embiid (right knee pain) will not travel on the Sixers two game road trip. Mike Scott (right knee soreness) is also out for the trip.

Ben Simmons is being listed as probable to play on Saturday vs. the Grizzlies while also dealing with a knee injury. With Embiid and Scott out, the Sixers will likely start Dwight Howard at center and Tobias Harris back at PF in the front court. The Sixers got Harris, Matisse Thybulle and Shake Milton back in the lineup on Thursday after they were placed in health and safety protocols.
