What to do with Travis Kelce in the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL playoffs

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Travis Kelce ahead of the Chiefs Divisional round matchup against the Browns in the 2021 NFL Playoffs.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has solidified himself as one of, if not the, best tight ends in the NFL over the last couple of seasons.

But how does Kelce stack up this week in his AFC Divisional round matchup against the Cleveland Browns?

Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, $DKSalary

Kelce is a critical part of the Kansas City offense. He has nearly 1,500 receiving yards in just 15 games played this season. Kelce had a total of 305 fantasy points during the regular season, which was 34 more points than the second-rated TE in the league.

You can always count on production from the University of Cincinnati alum because of how many targets he gets on a weekly basis. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes loves to pass it to him, Kelce is averaging 10 targets per week. But recently, he’s been getting even more, 13, 12, 10 and 12 over the last four weeks.

The Browns are the third-worst defense in the NFL, and the worst currently active in the Playoffs, in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. That’s basically a nightmare scenario for anybody who is facing off against Kelce in daily fantasy.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Kelce. He could be the difference between a win and a loss.
