The second-ranked Baylor Bears will head on the road to take on the No. 15 Texas Tech Red Raiders in what might be the most anticipated game of the day on a college basketball Saturday slate.

Baylor might just be the best team in the entire sport and comes in with an 11-0 record and is the lone unbeaten team in Big 12 play at 4-0. The Bears haven’t played since Saturday as their matchup with the West Virginia Mountaineers was postponed due to West Virginia COVID-19 issues. Baylor ranks third in all of college basketball in offensive efficiency and sixth on the defensive end.

Texas Tech comes in with a record of 11-3 and 4-2 in a very competitive Big 12 especially at the top, which is tied for third in the conference along with the Kansas Jayhawks. The Red Raiders won three straight games including Wednesday night’s game, a 79-77 road win over the fourth-ranked Texas Longhorns. Texas Tech is led by its defense, which ranks seventh in efficiency, one spot below Baylor.

After their big win over Texas that locked up any doubt about their ranking or NCAA status, this is just a letdown spot for the Red Raiders. Baylor hasn’t let anyone within double digits this season for a reason.
