How to handle Taysom Hill’s injury in the 2021 NFL Playoffs

Taysom Hill is on the Saints final injury report for the Divisional round of the 2021 NFL Playoffs. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game day update: Hill is not expected to play, per Ian Rapoport and Jane Slater.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is officially listed as questionable to play with a knee injury for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill did not practice earlier this week, but was a limited participant on Friday. We should find out by inactives if the jack of all trade offensive weapon plays, but will keep an eye out for morning news.

Fantasy impact: Taysom Hill (knee)

Hill played in last week’s wild card game against the Bears, but did not make a major impact. The 30-year-old only had 15 rushing on four carries, to go along with two receptions for five yards. Hill ultimately scored three points in DFS, which is not nearly to consider for your lineup.

Looking forward to Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay, Hill doesn’t hold that much DFS value. Saints veteran quarterback Drew Brees has a ton of weapons at his disposal, which he will definitely use. Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, Jared Cook, Emmanuel Sanders, and even Deonte Harris could see more targets/receptions than Hill.
