UPDATE: James Palmer is reporting Remmers is expected to play on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs made an unexpected injury adjustment on Sunday two hours before kickoff against the Cleveland Browns. The team announced that right tackle Mike Remmers is questionable with an illness.

Remmers has not allowed a sack this season, appearing in a majority of offensive snaps in 11 games this season. His backup appears to be Martinas Rankin, who started Week 17 when the Chiefs were resting starters, but otherwise did not appear in a regular season game. He opened the season on the Reserve/PUP list and was activated on November 10.

The Chiefs will announce their inactives at approximately 1:35 p.m. ET, at which point we’ll know if Remmers is going to play.
