Here are the most popular NBA MLK Day prop bets

Bettors were big on Nikola Vucevic ahead of the Magic’s MLK Day matchup against the New York Knicks.

MLK Day will be packed with basketball, as there are 10 NBA games scheduled to be played. There will be a full day of action as tip-off times range from 12:00 p.m. ET to 10:00 p.m. ET. Bettors have had a busy day betting on Monday’s games and we’ve identified what the most popular prop bets are on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Here are the five most popular NBA prop bets for Monday:

NBA Popular Prop Bets

Rank Prop Odds
Rank Prop Odds
1 Nikola Vucevic Over 37.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists by the Player -110
2 Nikola Vucevic Over 3.5 Assists by the Player -110
3 Malik Beasley Over 5.5 Rebounds by. the Player +110
4 Nikola Vucevic Over 23.5 Points Scored by the Player -110
5 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Over 9.5 Points Scored by the Player +118

Update — Vucevic didn’t even need an assist to hit his over for points, assists, and rebounds. He tallied 24 points and 14 rebounds in 36 minutes in a loss to the Knicks on Monday. Unfortunately for bettors who bet the over on 3.5 assists, he didn’t get close, finishing with no dimes in the game.

It’s not hard to see that bettors really love Vucevic’s matchup against the New York Knicks, as three of the top five prop bets involve him. The Orlando Magic have been ravaged by injuries this year and the big man has carried a massive workload on offense. Vuc entered Monday having eclipsed 37.5 points, assists, and rebounds in three of his last five games but is matched up against a Knicks team that’s allowing the second-fewest points per game this season. Needless to say, Vucevic prop bets will probably remain pretty popular for the remainder of this season.

Beasley has been a solid rebounding guard this year and is averaging 4.7 per contest but he’s only gone over 5.5 in four of the 11 games he’s played in. The Timberwolves are up against a Hawks team that ranks first in the NBA in rebounds per game, so Beasley could face an uphill battle.

KCP just needs an average game to hit his over and he’s scored at least 10 points in six of the 10 games he’s appeared in. He's averaging 10.7 points per game and has a decent shot to reach double-digits given how he’s performed this year.
