Baylor might be the most complete college basketball team we’ve seen so far this season, as the Bears come in with a 12-0 overall record including 5-0 in Big 12 play. Baylor ranks inside the top six in both offensive and defensive efficiency. It is led by junior guard Jared Butler as the leading scorer, averaging 15.6 points per game to go along with 5.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals. In its last time out, the Bears took down the then-No. 15 Texas Tech Red Raiders on the road on Saturday 68-60.
Kansas checks in with a 10-3 overall record and is 4-2 so far in conference play for third place in the Big 12. Kansas ranks 69th in offensive efficiency and 102nd on the defensive end. The Jayhawks haven’t played since January 12 in a 75-70 loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys, as their game against the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday was postponed due to COVID-19 issues in the Iowa State program.
Baylor is currently a 8.5-point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Kansas has +330 odds on the moneyline. The point total is set at 139.5.
