We have a nice supply of top receivers going this week, with Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs, Tyreek Hill and the All-Pro trio in Tampa Bay. Antonio Brown does have a knee injury that slowed him down last week that we’ll need to keep an eye on, but there’s little doubt we have a strong group here.
Adams is just unstoppable, and even though I like Diggs and Hill a lot, I can’t see ranking anybody ahead of the touchdown machine. Hill did have one of his worst games this season against the Buffalo Bills, catching just three passes on three targets for 20 yards. Tre’Davious White probably had a lot to do with that, but also the Kansas City Chiefs game plan ended up feeding Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Travis Kelce caught two touchdowns. I don’t expect the Chiefs go heavy run this week unless Patrick Mahomes can’t get cleared of his concussion. And Hill can make a fantasy day with one end around.
When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trounced the Green Bay Packers in Week 6, it was Ronald Jones, Rob Gronkowski and a pick-six that did the Packers in. The odds of another game like that are also very slim, but I do expect the Buccaneers to at least try to get Jones going again.
These rankings are based on .5 PPR scoring.
