The Northwestern Wildcats will be looking to snap their five-game losing streak when they play the No. 10-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Wednesday night. The game is set to tip-off at 8:00 p.m. ET and broadcast on the Big Ten Network. A live stream will be available at FOXSports.com/live and the FOX Sports GO app.

The Wildcats are coming into this Big Ten battle with a record of 6-6 and 3-5 in conference play. Last Saturday, Northwestern lost by 23 points to the No. 5-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. The Wildcats have not won a game since Dec. 26, where they defeated Ohio State 71-70. Over the course of this recent losing streak, Northwestern has lost by an average of 18.4 points per game. This will also be the Wildcats’ seventh-consecutive game against a ranked opponent.

As for the Badgers, they enter this matchup with a record of 11-3 and Big Ten record of 5-2. After getting dismantled by the Michigan Wolverines early last week, the Badgers bounced back with a six-point victory over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Saturday. Wisconsin has now three out of their last five games.

The Best Bet

It is going to be tough for the Wildcats to beat a fundamentally-sound Wisconsin Badgers team on Wednesday. Northwestern is reeling with five-straight losses, while Wisconsin has only lost twice in their last five contests (1/12 at Mich., 12/28 vs. MD).

If the Wildcats want to come away with the victory, they need to shoot three-ball better and defend against it. In their last three contests, Northwestern is allowing teams to shoot 40.8 percent from three-point range. And they are only shooting 27.6 percent, which is lower than their regular season average of 36.3 percent.

But it is going to be tough for them to get on track as the Badgers’ defense is only allowing opposing teams to shoot 33.9 percent from three-point range in the last three games. The Wildcats have a record of 0-5 against the spread in their last give games, while Wisconsin is only 2-3 against the spread.

Pick: Wisconsin -11
