Friday update: Diggs got in a full workout on Friday and was removed from the final injury report. He’s good to go for Sunday.
Thursday PM update: Diggs got in a limited practice on Thursday.
Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs was limited in practice on Wednesday with an oblique injury, per the injury report. This has become the routine for Diggs as he’s dealt with this injury, but he has played through it and at a high level. Unless he has a setback, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to worry about his status against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Diggs has been on fire this season and in the playoffs, as he has topped 100 yards receiving in five of his last six games and caught six touchdowns in that span. His presence has been a huge boost to Josh Allen and this offense this season.
Diggs led the NFL in receptions and yards, but his eight touchdowns couldn’t compete with the massive numbers from Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill with 18 and 15 respectively. His name doesn’t get mentioned with those two as often as it should be, but there’s plenty of reason to consider him as the best wide receiver in 2021.
