Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers are set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Jones has a slew of prop bets to consider for this matchup over at DraftKings Sporstbook. We’ll take an in-depth look at his props for receptions, yardage and touchdowns below.
Rushing yards prop: O/U 59.5 (-112)
In 16 games played this season, Jones has gone over 59.5 rushing yards, nine times. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense is the best at stopping the run, allowing 80.6 rushing yards per game.
Pick: Under
Last week, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara had some success against the Buccaneers’ defense, recording 85 yards on 18 carries. But for most part, the Bucs have been stout against the run. In their first matchup in Week 6, the Packers as a team only had 80 rushing yards, with Jones pitching in 15 yards on 10 carries.
Receiving yards prop: O/U 23.5 (-112)
In 14 games played this season, Jones has gone over 23.5 receiving, only six times. In Green Bay’s last four games, Jones has had less than 20 receiving yards.
Pick: Under
When these two teams played the first time in Week 6, the Bucs’ defense did a great job of keeping Jones in check. They held him to only three catches (five targets) for 26 yards. This season, Tampa Bay’s defense has only giving up 41.9 receiving yards per game to opposing running backs.
Rushing and receiving yards prop: O/U 87.5 (-112)
Jones has gone over 87.5 receiving and rushing yards, eight times out of 14 games played this season.
Pick: Under
If we are going to say that Jones will be both under his receiving and rushing yards props, then it will be tough for him to reach the over for Sunday’s game. But there’s always a chance he could go over as he had 133 total yards against the Rams last weekend.
Touchdown props: Anytime (+115), First/Last (+850), 2 or more TDs (+550), 3 or more TDs (+3000)
Jones has recorded three touchdowns in the Bucs’ last four games. Overall, the dynamic running back has scored 11 touchdowns this season. Furthermore, he's only scored two or more touchdowns once this season.
Pick: Anytime
With the Buccaneers pretty good against the run, it might be hard for Jones to score multiple touchdowns on Sunday. Tampa Bay allowed 11 total touchdowns to opposing running backs this season. In fact, they’ve only gave up one touchdown in the last four games and that includes what Kamara did last week.
