QB head-to-head prop bets for the NFC Championship on DraftKings Sportsbook

We breakdown the head-to-head matchup prop bets for Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers in NFC Championship.

Brady vs Rodgers. Mahomes vs Allen. Previewing the NFL Conference Championships

The 2021 NFC Championship is a real treat for anyone who enjoys outstanding quarterback play. Sunday, two future Hall of Famers, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, go toe-to-toe for a chance to lead their team to Super Bowl 55. They each have player prop bets available over on DraftKings Sporstbook, but the line makers have put together two special prop bets, where you’ll be forced to choose: TB12 or Aaron Rodgers? We’ll take an in-depth look at their head-to-head matchup props here.

Player to have most passing yards: Aaron Rodgers (+100) or Tom Brady (-124)

Brady finished the season with more passing yards than Rodgers: 4,633 to 4,299. Brady had 199 yards last week against the Saints and 381 in the Wild Card game against Washington. Rodgers had 296 last week against the Rams, which had the NFL’s best pass defense headed into that game.

Pick: Aaron Rodgers

Two things here are pushing me toward Rodgers. While the Bucs have a good defense, their weakest against the pass, and it’s the perfect matchup for Rodgers and Davante Adams. The Packers defense is a little like the Saints, and it’s going to be harder for Brady to rack up yards here.

Player to throw the most touchdowns: Aaron Rodgers (-143) or Tom Brady (-115)

Brady had 40 touchdown passes this season, while Rodgers had 48. They’ve both thrown two scores in each of their playoff games so far this season. Rodgers has 12 games with three or more touchdowns; Brady has done that seven times.

Pick: Aaron Rodgers

The Bucs have allowed opposing quarterbacks to throw 32 touchdowns this year, including their two playoff games. The Packers have only allowed 24, and even with one less game (they had a bye for the first round of the playoff) that’s an impressive number. It’s going to be near impossible to stop Rodgers this weekend.
