The 20th-ranked Clemson Tigers will look to get back on track after a pair of blowout losses in the past week when they head on the road to face the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday, January 23. The game will get started at 3 p.m. ET.
Clemson lost 85-50 at home on January 16, and that was followed up by an 83-65 road loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Wednesday night. Defense has been the specialty for this Tigers team, but they really struggled on that end of the floor in the two losses. Clemson checks in at No. 45 in KenPom and still has the 19th-ranked defense in adjusted efficiency. The Tigers are 9-3 overall and 3-3 in ACC play for ninth place in the conference.
Florida State is riding a three-game winning streak heading into this one after seeing games postponed due to COVID-19 issues. The Seminoles beat the Louisville Cardinals 78-65 on the road earlier this week and improved to 8-2 overall including 4-1 in the conference for a tie for third place. The Seminoles are 19th in KenPom with the 12th-ranked offense in adjusted efficiency.
