In a lightweight bout on the main card of UFC 257, Dan Hooker will take on Michael Chandler in the co-main event Saturday live from UFC Fight Island and available on ESPN+ PPV.

The 30-year-old Hooker enters this contest as the slight favorite, with a professional fighting record of 20-9. “The Hangman” is also ranked sixth in the lightweight rankings. Hooker last fought at UFC on ESPN 13 in June, where he lost by unanimous decision to Dustin Poirier.

As for Chandler, he walks into Fight Island as the underdog. The 34-year-old rookie has a professional fighting record of 21-5. This will be Chandler’s first UFC event after 10 years fighting in Bellator. The Missouri native’s last bout took place in August, where he defeated Benson Henderson by knockout in Round 1. Unlike the main event between McGregor-Poirier, both fighters in the co-main event are fairly priced well and should not break your DFS salary cap. Hooker is averaging 82.5 fantasy points per fight and has consistently scored around that point total in his last four fights.

Against Poirier in June, “The Hangman” still managed to score 98 points, despite losing in five rounds. In that bout, he recorded 155 significant strikes, which was the second-straight fight that he produced 100 or more. He also had four takedowns, giving him five in two bouts.

Meanwhile, we do not know much about Chandler and how he will perform DFS wise in his UFC debut. If you want to take a fighter from this bout for your DFS, take Hooker.
