Phoenix Suns G Devin Booker has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. the Denver Nuggets. Booker injured his hamstring in Friday’s OT loss to the Nuggets and the Suns weren’t sure if Booker would be able to go on Saturday. He’ll sit the night out and we’ll get someone new in Phoenix’s starting lineup. Booker played 40 minutes in the OT loss and scored 31 points.
With Booker sidelined, the Suns could re-insert Jae Crowder back into the lineup. He was recently replaced by Cameron Johnson. The Suns can just move Mikal Bridges over to SG and play Johnson at SF with Crowder at PF. Phoenix basically rode all of its starters on Friday night, so there’s some incentive to get the bench guys more minutes on the second night of a back-to-back.
